[This is a roleplay based off of the ‘Bring it On’ movies. It is loosely based off of the prequel, ‘In It to Win It’, just by it’s setting for the most part. Characters from Camp Varsity are not up for play unless you ask. This is set in the summer of 2012.]
Nina Meade, 19. [open] FC: Dianna Agron.
Team: Sharks.
Position: Flyer/Gymnast.
Miss Nina Meade. You don’t want to mess with her, she can insult you to tears. Nina is your sterotypical cheerleader: a bitch, pretty, feared by the entire school… yup, that’s Nina. She’s the oldest member on the team, though she’s a senior, like her captain, Aimee. She holds a grudge over Aimee for beating her out on the captain position during sophomore year. She’s close friends with Micah Bates and Samuel Nixon, whereas Sam’s best friend, Shae, pisses Nina off immensely. The team is trying to get her to break her bad attitude, but she shakes off their attempts and focuses on simply doing her best in the routines. She’s a fantastic flyer and gymnast, you would be in awe at the sight of her flips and perfect twirls when in the air.
There is a reason behind Nina’s bitchiness, though. Her parents love her, they do, but they put all of their attention on her older sister, Jasmine. While Nina is doing everything as best as she can — Straight A student, college scholarship, everything her sister could do — it still doesn’t impress them. She’s simply their second daughter, the one they never want to brag to their friends about. Nina holds some resentment on her sister for that.
Nina is your typical California girl, with a twist. While she does loves her flips-flops, tanks, and shorts; she loves to add her own girly accessories and looks to them. She adores sundresses, pretty blouses, heels… it’s a very girly look. She loves to have her hair in a different style every day, too — from fishtail braids to high ponies to crimping, she does it all.
Shae Garrison, 18. [open] FC: Candice Accola.
Team: Sharks.
Position: Flyer/Gymnast.
Shae. Shae, Shae, Shae. She’s a firecracker, this girl is. She’s Senior Class President, 4.0 GPA Student, headed to Yale… and she still manages to find time to be the motherly member of the Sharks. You’ll often hear the team calling her Momma Shae. She might be small and a Barbie-look alike, but you mess with her squad, and she will be ready for a show-down. She’s fun, sarcastic, protective, and her best friend is Samuel Nixon. Sam is like her brother, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t dated at one point. They had a brief relationship in that awkward ‘Do I like you as a friend or more?’ phase of best friendship. But now that’s over and she managed to convince him to join the Sharks. Afterall, cute girls? Short skirts? A guy’s wet dream. She’s trying to hook him up with the captain, Aimee. Afterall, he needs broken out of his shell a bit. Shae, whose full name is Shaeanna (no one knows that, nor do they know her middle name. except for Samuel, but whatever.), but if you call her that, you must be asking for a death wish.
She has that large, crazy kind of family. Tons of siblings, tons of pets, tons of friends always at their large home in the residential section of Malibu… she loves it. Shae has six siblings: Her younger brother, Austin; her two older sisters, Gina and Haley; her two younger twin brothers, Blake and Seth; and then there’s her older brother, Daniel. It’s a crazy house, but it’s so much fun. Her parents are both pediatricians, so they are often out of the house. Leaving their seven kids to do as they please… though they often end up grounded afterwards.
Shae is a more comfort over fashion, type of girl. Fashion is for a moment while style is forever, right? That’s what she thinks, at least. You’ll find her in tees and jeans, her hair either straight or curly. Either way, she looks fantastic. She’s one of those girls who looks amazing after everything, no matter what she does. While she doesn’t invest her time in clothes, she does love shoes and makeup. Her closet is mostly shoes, while her personal bathroom is cluttered with all sorts of makeup. She’s the one who does and thinks up their competition makeup.
Diana Amos, 17. [open] FC: Alexandra Chando.
Team: Jets.
Position: Tumbler/Gymnast.
Oh, Diana. She’s not entirely there. She’s what you would call a ditz, or maybe flighty would be the word? She’s so innocent, too, you can’t not love this girl. She’s Kylee Tyler’s right-hand woman, and the two have been the best of friends since forever. She’s a sweetheart and never really knows what she’s talking about — but she never get’s teased for it. Diana is bi, and she’s played around a bit. Despite her personality and sweet looks, this girl is a sneaky one. This brunette is liked even by people on the competing teams; they just can’t resist her contagious smile and laugh. She tends to light up a room. Diana loves to dance and have fun. She is one of the best gymnasts on the team, as well as one of the loudest. When the team’s feeling down, she and Brooklyn pep them up!
Diana, or Di, has grown up her entire life with a small, close family. It’s been Di, her older brother Nathan, and then their parents. They live the typical white-picket-fence life in Whie Chapel. They have two dogs, Willow and Taz, and they’re two firecrackers of dogs. Nathan is a senior at White Chapel High School, a year older than Diana. Her father is a pharmacist and her mother is an accountant. Diana loves her family and wouldn’t trade them for the world.
Diana is a fashion fiend. She’s fashion-forward and is always up for trying the latest style, and she can always rock it. She wants to be a famous fashion designer someday and you can find her sewing her latest design in her room often times. She has made the team some amazing practice gear — tees, tanks, shorts, sweats… she’s a whiz with a sewing machine, thread, fabric, and needles. She has mastered the fashion business, as well. She works at Urban Outfitters and loves her co-workers.

Brooklyn Garcia, 17. [open] FC: Shay Mitchell.
Team: Jets.
Position: Base.
Brooklyn, or Brooke as she prefers, is a firecracker. She has so much energy and pep you’d be surprised if she wasn’t a cheerleader! She can get pretty hyper at times and she is close with her captain, Audrey. The two just clicked when Brooklyn arrived in White Chapel. She’s a strong girl, which is why she’s a base. She’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, though she often makes perverted jokes. (‘That’s What She Said’ is her favorite.) She’s almost like a human garbage disposal — this girl loves to eat. Brooke fits in best with the guys and she is great friends with the Herrickson boys — you want to have some major fun? Meet up with them. Those three are the life of the party. She loves to dance which is why she is often the inspiration for some of the dance moves in the team’s routines. She loves cheerleading and doesn’t plan on ever stopping.
But you see, this happy attitude of her’s is a cover from her home life. Her father abuses her and her mother? Well, she walked out on the family when Brooke was young. She joined the cheerleading squad originally so she could stay away from home, but now she’s glad she made that decision: in more ways than one. The team has helped her deal with so much, but they still don’t know that her father continually abuses her. She wants to tell someone, she really does, but her father threatens her not to. It’s horrible. Her brother doesn’t have to deal with this and he won’t do anything to help her, which really hurts Brooke.
She isn’t a stand-out girl, her fashion sense remains with what makes her feel comfortable. Plus, she has to get what she can afford — she works at a Forever 21 at her home in White Chapel — so she can’t get anything too pricey. Brooke is determined to get a scholarship to an amazing school, so she has to work so hard to keep her grades up to be able to earn that Cheerleading Scholarship. The team helps her out money wise, but she hates feeling like their charity case.
Aimee Morgan, 18. [taken] FC: Ashley Benson.
Team: Sharks.
Position: Captain.
Aimee is one of the most fun girls you could ever be around. She’s funny, she’s sassy, she’s sarcastic without over-doing it… she’s just all around fun. You want a good laugh? Aimee’s your girl! She’s a klutz, creative, and one of the best captains you will ever meet. She always thinks of the most creative routines without having illegal moves and their dance-mixes are always amazing. She gives all she’s got to her squad. She is the captain of the Malibu Sharks and her squad is her family. She doesn’t have a best friend per se, considering everyone she meets is drawn to her laugh and smile. If you don’t like Aimee, you must just be jealous. Aimee will be loyal to you until you give her a reason not to, and when you do, her grudges last forever. The Sharks have been Runner-Ups the past three years, each time losing to the Jets. She doesn’t like Audrey or her squad all that much, but what happens when she finds herself in a problem where they need the Jets’ help? She is currently dating Samuel Nixon and she adores him.
Aimee grew up in Southern California with her divorced mother since she was ten. Her father had an affair with some tattooed freak and that ended her parents’ already rocky marriage. She is determined to get her mom out in the dating scene again, but she’s had no luck. Until they move to Malibu and she met the football coach, Coach Davidson. The two instantly clicked. Aimee and her sisters, Danielle (older) and Claire (younger), are ecstatic to see their mom happy again.
Aimee has a distinct sense of style. It’s an obvious California Girl look at times, though often it’s simply what she loves and what is comfortable. She is fashion forward and is willing to try anything once. She prefers the clothes that were in at once point, but went out of style — she wants to be the girl to bring old fashion back in.
Audrey Garrity, 18. [taken] FC: Katie Cassidy.
Team: Jets.
Position: Captain.
Audrey is a smartass. She always has something to say to things and there’s always this smirk on her face that follows her everywhere. This might make her seem like a bitch, but if you ask her squad, she really isn’t. Audrey is the captain of the New Jersey Jets and is damn proud of it. The squad has a winning streak in this competition, three years of winning and counting. Audrey grew up in the small town of White Chapel, New Jersey, cheering and tumbling ever since she can remember. She’s rebellious, passionate, and once she likes you, nothing you do can shake her loyalty. She’s a great friend and one of the most fun people to be around. Audrey devotes everything she has to the team and works her butt off to make them look good. She is a sarcastic girl and her sarcasm often scares people away. She’s dependable — you’ll always know she’ll back you up or kick ass for you if you’re friends. She’s single at the moment, but she has her eyes on those Herrickson boys, and when Audrey wants something, she somehow manages to get it.
Audrey grew up with her two twin sisters, Sarah and Shania, and her older brother Jared. Her father is a doctor and her mother is a history teacher. She grew with a decent lifestyle, the best her parents could get. It wasn’t the richest life, but who needs designer clothes to be happy? Audrey certainly doesn’t.
Her type of fashion is comfortable, yet edgy. She loves leather jackets and jeans, but there are times when you’ll find her in dresses and heels. It depends on her mood — you never know what type of outfit you’ll find her in.
